Windsor Green Summer Music Festival
On August 16, 2025, YACO members and volunteers successfully hosted the Windsor Summer Music Festival for senior residents at Acton Windsor Green. The event saw a great turnout of over 30 residents and was well-received. Attendees enjoyed a lively game, a fun raffle, complimentary refreshments and the fantastic performances by some senior residents, YACO members and a local professional singer. A resident commented, "It was FABULOUS!!! The participants were very talented and it was very well organized. I really enjoyed it so much! I was SO impressed...... Even the snacks, raffle and Pass the Pig game were wonderful".
Lunar New Year Fun Day at Acton Windsor Green Senior Apartment
On January 25th 2025, YACO members successfully hosted Windsor Lunar New Year Fun Day Event for senior residents at Windsor Green, Acton. The holiday event was a big hit, with many residents joining us to enjoy chess, board games, cards, mahjong, calligraphy, Lunar New Year themed arts and crafts, and a fun-filled raffle. The event was a great success and held a great festive spirit! Everyone had a fantastic time celebrating the Year of Snake!
Lantern Festival and Valentine's Day Celebration at Acton Windsor Green Senior Apartment
YACO members hosted a fun filled Lantern Festival and Valentine's Day celebration on 2/15/25 Saturday afternoon with board games, poker, Mahjong, chess and crafts like paper cutting, lantern, greeting cards and jewelry making , and raffle with New Year decorations, gift bags, paper lanterns and golden snake lucky charms.
